Flight Operations at the Billings Airport


This position is paid hourly and not eligible for benefits.

Position Description

Responsible for conducting student flight training under Part 141 of the Federal Aviation Regulations in single and multi-engine airplanes and in flight training devices (as certifications allow). Provides ground training to students. Schedules flight training, maintains student records, assists the Director and Assistant Director of Flight Operations and Director of Maintenance in administrative duties.

Education and/or experience: 

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) preferred.  

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor certificate required. CFI-Instrument preferred.

Other Skills:

  • Ability to work with computer software programs.
